An hour a day on terrain gets you a whole lot of tables. At least, that's my tactic for building 32 tables worth of terrain in a short delay.

Tales from Tournaments and Pulling the Plug
Seventh edition is close to an end, and I’m finishing it just like it started, with flying monsters, tournament games and lots of beers.
This article will be two fold, with part one being why most of you are here : a tournament report. Part two will be a little more bloggy-feely and reflect upon the last few years of gaming.

Adepticon, Eh! part 4
Now believe
it or not, the downtime is actually the best part of the event… Well, I didn’t win anything so maybe winning
in tournaments is best. I wouldn’t know,
so I had to socialize and drink. Well,
damned, tough break. Read on for the conclusion
of this awesome weekend of gaming!

MOAR Grey Knights
It's the last time I swear. But I figured that this being a hobby/painting blog, it's been a while since I uploaded an actual model. Here is the Grey Knights' army you've read all about in the last articles. If you attend the Adepticon, you might see them again, I'm still unsure about my plan on the 40K championship. Taking the same army to 2 tournaments would be a first for me. Anyway, more shots after the jump.

The ND Open, Part 1
Welcome to the 1st part of my journey to attending the ND Open.
THE PRIMER
This should get you a gaming boner and/or a decent warface
The 2014 edition of the tournament marks the 6th year of the tournament. What started as a 16 player Fantasy tournament is now a 50 Fantasy, 40 40k and 16 warchamine 2 day event and is the biggest event held in Quebec. This also marks the 2nd year of the Northern Defender Painting Competition, judged by non other than renown painter Mathieu Fontaine.
For work-related reasons, I was not able to attend the tournament for the previous 5 times, although I made a bief apperence last years to win 3 of the 5 categories at the Painting comeptition, this will be my first time as a player, and I couldn't be more thrilled!
