Playtest - Thunderdome

Another post that stayed in the draft too long, one of the last game I played before leaving for NOVA.

In another round of playtesting for nova - and most other tournaments as well as this is a popular build - My buddy Arno played a variant of the TWC star.  Turns out, if I win my first round, I am paired vs Aaron Aelong, Thunderdome/TWCStar expert.  Aaron’s NOVA list was nastier than his ETC variant.  Nontheless, testing was in order.

My Nova Open 2015

I didn’t have time to upload my usual tournament primer- the articles just before I go to tournaments where I share my hopes and dreams- before attending the Nova Open.  Rest assured, this did not jinx my tournament going experience - I had a blast!  Read on for Glory!

Hammers, Gold and Sigmar

Viewers familiar with my Instagram ( @HELLFIREPAINTING ) will know by now that I'm in an Age of Sigmar frenzy, assembling 3 starter set boxes of the lovely angels.  

This is so I can play my first few games hungover this saturday at the LGS tournament.  More to come, as I have 4 boxes of content to paint, let alone assemble the Khorne side of things!
