The Adepticon Team Tournament

I’ve praised this event before and will praise it again, this is the event that rules them all.  Any self respecting 40K player needs to find 3 friends and play in the team tournament.

I usually team up with my French buddies, but this year, I went beyond our French borders to find a team and had the privilege of playing with 3 of the top players in America.

The ND Open 2015 part 3

4-0 at the end of the first day means tha no matter what happens, the W/L ratio I wanted is achieved.  But don’t let this fool you. There were more butts to be kicked.

The ND Open 2015, Part 2

Armed my the trusty Daemons, I was ready to take on the tournament, despite strict beverages rules preventing me from enjoying my classic cranberry sportsmanship drink.  Good thing I had knocked back 2-3 cups before they announced the rule.

Meta your Maker Part 2

I got a lot of great feedback from my article last week about playing this weird game with miniatures, so I’m at it again, with some closing thoughts on the same subject.  You should read it now, I’llwait here until you’re done.

Demo Table

The store has this Demo Table that's been up since the Battle of Maccrage box set came out ( as the terrain points out )

As you can see, it was in a pretty bad shape ( It's 10 years of gaming crammed in a 3/3 table. )  So I figured I'd give it some overhaul.  It took 2-3 hours, with some breaks because custommers/poop/scratching my head wondering what to do next.  Nothing too fancy, but it's sturdy and striking.  Now I'm working on the models to go on it...

Hit the jump for all the shots of the upgraded table.
